About Various

The authors of this volume are all popular and talented professional storytellers living and performing in Scotland today. Each having authored a volume of county-based tales they are experts in the folklore of their area. The foreword is from Donald Smith the founding member of the Scottish Storytelling Forum Edinburghs Guid Crack Club and currently Director of TRACS (Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland). He also curates two festivals: TradFest in the spring and the Scottish International Storytelling Festival in the autumn.
