About Bai Ming

Bai Ming graduated from the Fine Art School in Beijing and currently serves as the Director of Ceramic Art Department at University of Tsinghua. He works with both ceramics and paintings and he is an important Chinese artist after the 'opening' of China in the late 1980s. He was awarded the Gold Prize at The Invitational Exhibition of China Young Ceramic Artist and for his Contribution to Promotion of the Contemporary Ceramic Art of China in the Great Hall of the People. He has published 14 books regarding his own personal work and collections. He also published 11 series of books totalling 28 volumes.
