About

Heather Maietta is a professor in the Doctorate of Higher Education Leadership program at Regis College. Her research examines the impacts of college closure first-generation doctoral students and the success of adult learners. Her most recent publications include journal articles on adult learners a monograph entitled Career Coaching: Fundamentals Applications and Future Directions a coedited book entitled The T-professional Model and Undergraduate Education: Advancing Talent Development and a book chapter entitled When First-Generation College Students Become Doctoral Candidates. She sits on the editorial board for the Journal of the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition is a board certified coach a National Association of Colleges and Employers coaching faculty member and a Facilitating Career Developments national trainerPhilip Gardner served as executive director of career services at Michigan State University and director of the Collegiate Employment Research Institute where he actively researched issues related to college and work. His work includes investigating and advocating the T- professional model as a means to reimagine undergraduate education. Philip served as a Fulbright specialist to New Zealand in work-integrated learning recognized by the Cooperative Education Internship Association and the World Association of Cooperative Education in understanding and advancing work-integrated learning. He was recently elected to the Academy of Fellows of the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
