About Chris Chatterton

Chris Chatterton is a former secondary school teacher with a degree in History and English Literature. He is currently the Mayor of Gloucester and as such can offer a unique perspective on the history of the city. He is the holder of a role that dates back to at least 1199 and has access to a range of source material that will greatly enhance the history of the city. He is also an amateur historian who gives talks and presentations on the history of the area. He sits on the Cathedral Council and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Soldiers of Gloucester Museum. He lives in Quedgeley Gloucester.
